Following the success of Tankovna beer at The White Horse in South West London, Pilsner Urquell is set to install further tanks in key central London venues as a mark of the growing popularity for the original Pilsner beer.
The popular Draft House Group will see the famous copper tank arriving and ready to serve at Draft House, Seething EC3N from 2ndSeptember 2014.
Delivered by a special tanker directly from the brewery in Plzen to the UK, the beer is pumped into specially crafted copper tanks from the Czech Republic which are installed and on display in the pub. Each tank contains 880 pints and they are refilled with fresh Pilsner Urquell every week.
Master Brewer, Robert Lobovsky says, “Tank Beer is unique in its taste and quality and offers beer lovers , the freshest beer possible. The tanks ensure that the beer is kept at the right temperature and in perfect condition until the time it is poured into the glass, ensuring the very best taste, quality and a fuller, rounder malt body.”
