Popular neighbourhood pub The Bear to reopen in time for Christmas

One of Rugby’s favourite neighbourhood pubs, The Bear, is set to make its return when it reopens its doors on Monday 29th November following a complete refurbishment. Located in the Eastern Warwickshire market town of Rugby on Bilton Lane, the Wells & Co managed pub is thrilled to be able to welcome guests back just in time to enjoy the festive season with friends and family.

The reopening of the pub will introduce locals to the craft beer and ale range from the Bedford based brewery, Brewpoint, and also include a tempting range of wines, craft gins and ciders. As well as the brand-new look, The Bear has also been working hard on a fresh food menu for guests to try when they return, making it the perfect place to drink and dine out at the weekend or to celebrate a special occasion.

The new food menu includes your favourite pub classics from Breaded Whitebait and Ham Hock Terrine to delicious homemade Steak & Ale pie filled with award-winning beef steak, homemade shortcrust pastry with buttery mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables. Not only is the menu perfect for lunch and dinner but it also includes a selection of grazing dishes ideal for sharing. Make sure you leave room for dessert as The Bear is bringing back the classics, yes that’s right, Banoffee pie served with spiced apple ice cream!
