Purity Brewing Continues to Toast Success

Multi-award-winning brewery Purity Brewing Company has moved swiftly to ensure drinkers and consumers are able to experience a version of the pub experience during these unprecedented and unfamiliar times.

The brewery over the past few weeks has announced two initiatives to ensure the pub atmosphere is kept alive with the re launch of a full contactless and safe click and collect service from the Brewery including the new best-selling ‘Pure Pub’ experience mixed case that includes a range of Purity beers as well as selection of Pipers Crisps.

As the Covid-19 pandemic continues across the country and some measures are relaxed Purity want to continue to bring great beer with real character and bring a smile to as many customers and beer fans as possible. The new click and collect service sees Purity’s online customers able to book a 10-minute slot to collect their order and after giving their order number one of the Purity team is able to place the order in customers cars whilst adhering to the current social distancing measures.

Whilst the humble pub plays a key role in many communities across the country and now more than ever we need to maintain a true community spirit whilst abiding to current government recommendations. Which is why Purity wanted to continue to support our pub customers as much as possible as they stepped up and diversified their offering in this challenging situation. With mobile bars being donated to those offering hot food takeaways, to fridges for additional storage for cold beers we have been able to support many of our key customers who have continued to offer the community a service they so much deserved.

Alongside our click and collect and local delivery service we have also diversified during the period of lockdown with the introduction of a weekly online Pub Quiz. Live from the Brewery tap room two of the Purity team are live streaming to an average of over 600 Puritans each week. Aimed to put a smile on people’s faces and have a few laughs all with a slight competitive edge the quiz will split into 4 rounds consisting of 10 questions each. Planned to run every Wednesday from 7.15pm, we have been lucky enough to call on local sporting and event partners including Wasps Rugby, Aston Villa, Coventry Rugby and 2000 Trees who have willingly given access to special guests Tom Cruse, Josh Basset, Max Trimble, Ian Taylor, Tony Daley and Thrill Collins. Plus former legend of West Midlands football and current pundit Dion Dublin.

Purity CEO and Co-Founder, Paul Halsey commented: “Like many of our Puritans we are missing heading to our favourite hospitality venues and enjoying that truly unique atmosphere of the pub or stadia or festival. As other sectors begin to get back to ‘normal’ the hospitality sector is going to be sometime and we are all having to create our version of the new normal. With this we wanted to re-introduce our click and collect service and offer our Puritans that experience of collecting their beers from the brewery which we know so many of our Puritans enjoy. We have been blown away by the support shown towards us and to see our online sales grow exponentially has been incredible to see. The work that the team at the brewery are doing to ensure consumers are getting their orders turned around so quick is outstanding and the feedback we’ve had has been amazing. We’ve also loved seeing all the ways our customers have diversified there offering and, in most cases, continued to be the community hubs that we all know pubs are known to be. As we move forward we’re continuing to support and protect the British pub trade.”

Paul added – “I’ve thoroughly enjoyed our weekly pub quiz and to see so many new Puritans join and experience our brewery is incredible plus the number of Puritans from around the world that have joined us, including people from Australia, Canada, the Caribbean and across Europe. The chaps hosting are continuing to do a great job to see the quiz get national press coverage was brilliant to see.’

‘We’d like to take this opportunity to send our best wishes and thanks to all our customers, partners and loyal Puritans and thank them for their support to us over the last few weeks. Stay safe everyone and happy quizzing”

The brewery are also encouraging those taking part in the quiz to donate what they would spend on a pint at their normal quiz to the breweries official charity partner Cure Leukemia via their Just Giving page – https://www.justgiving.com/cureleukaemia

As a one off special, the brewery has joined forces with Beer Day Britain, due to be held on the 15th June, and well know beer writers Adrian Tierney-Jones, Emma Inch and Jonny Garret (Craft Beer Channel) to bring audiences a Beer Special Pure Pub Quiz. To celebrate Britain’s national alcoholic drink and spread beery love throughout the land Purity Pure Pub Quiz Hosts Alex and Alex, will kick off the Quiz live on Purity’s Facebook Page at 7pm with a #CheersToBeer and hopefully join many others across the country celebrating Britain’s National Drink.
