Reminder: British Guild of Beer Writers Invites Pitches for 2026 Awards and Dinner

The British Guild of Beer Writers is putting out a call to all great event organisers, asking for pitches for our industry awards and guild dinner in 2026. 

The awards offers one of the biggest prize pots in British journalism, and the annual dinner is attended by around 200 of the industry's biggest names. After decades as a formal dinner and awards night we are looking to make the event a little more casual, while losing none of the gravitas the awards hold. We are also aware that in a difficult time for the beer and cider industries as a whole, sponsorship costs and our reliance on it needs to come down while ring-fencing our vital prize pot.

As a result we're looking for an agency with a vision for what a modern writing awards ceremony should look like, a dynamic approach to promoting the event and getting it outside the echo chamber of the industry, and a killer venue that keeps the dinner special while reducing costs for all involved.
