For far too long, our beloved designated driver has been stuck with sticky, sugary and ultimately unhealthy drinks at bars. Until now, that is! Recognising that these people needed to be thanked, ex-Sipsmith boys James Grundy & Felix James set about rethinking the brewing process entirely, to create a great tasting, low alcohol beer.
Enter the Small Beer Brew Co!
An exciting new addition to the category; the innovation bit (as the name suggests) is that this beer is a ‘Small Beer’ which, if you haven’t come across it before, was a staple of the 1700s and is a low alcohol beer (less than 2.5% ABV).
On a mission to transform the lower alcohol beer sector into one defined by great taste, James and Felix have reinvented the entire brew process from start to finish. This new methodology has enabled them to create phenomenally full flavoured beer at a lower Alcohol By Volume (‘ABV’) – something never previously experienced because the process had never been questioned.
The beer is already served at The Savoy and stocked at the likes of Selfridges and The Whisky Exchange, with a nationwide roll out across all 220 Majestic stores from April 25th.
