Fuller, Smith & Turner P.L.C., the London brewer and premium pub company, is delighted to announce that The Frog & Wicket, The Green, Eversley Cross, Hants, RG27 0NS is now reopen for business, following an extensive refurbishment.
Located on the main Reading Road (B3272) in the charming village of Eversley Cross, The Frog and Wicket has been given a stylish makeover, but still retains its traditional pub feel. This traditional village pub offers a wide selection of well-kept cask ales, including Fuller’s premium brand London Pride, and excellent food. Just a ball’s throw away from one of England’s oldest cricket pitches, this pub truly is the perfect spot to enjoy an afternoon’s cricket. In addition, the pub continues to boast a lively line up of music most weekends, with regular performances on a Saturday and jazz afternoons on a Sunday. The pub now offers around 140 covers for diners and still retains its traditional skittle alley.
The bar houses a wide range of cask ales from London alongside an exciting range of seasonal ales, which will change on a regular basis. Meanwhile, the new menu, packed with pub classics, focuses on freshly cooked delicious dishes using carefully selected, high quality local and seasonal ingredients.
David Gough, Operations Manager for The Frog and Wicket, said of the refurbishment: “The Frog and Wicket is a great pub and this refurbishment has allowed us to make the most of its exciting features.
