The Pembury Tavern’s Charity Night

In light of the cost of living crisis, The Pembury Tavern – owned by Hackney’s Five Points Brewing Company – are supporting the community with a charity quiz night on 26 September that will raise funds for the Hackney Food Bank.

“We want to give back to the local community that has supported us through the pandemic and during these tough times, and we would like to help families that need it the most by raising money for Hackney Food Bank,” says Edward Mason, Co-Founder and Managing Director of Five Points.

Early bird tickets to the quiz night costs £5 and come with a free pint of Five Points beer. The proceeds of the ticket sales will be donated to Hackney Food Bank. Tickets can also be bought at the door for £2 per person (without beer). The quiz questions will include a mix of questions including a round on pertinent topics about how food banks help those in need. Ticket purchase link here.

The Pembury Tavern will also be collecting donations from 26 Sep to 9 Oct and people who donate an item from Hackney Food Bank’s most needed list on the quiz night will be entered into a raffle on the same night and stand a chance to win Five Points prizes.
