The cartoons will be for sale and will be paired with Anspach & Hobday beer for guests looking to immerse themselves in the art.
Simon, who is known for his political and satirical cartoons, has been working with Private Eye for 10 years and has also worked with brands such as Apple and The NHS.
Of the event Simon said “President Trump recently tried to get a cartoon banned…this seems to me to be a very good sign indeed that political cartoons can still ruffle feathers, or, in his case, fake hair.”
The Pigeon’s drink-in opening hours are 5-10pm Tuesday-Saturday. Happy Hour is 5:30-6:30 everyday with half-price Anspach & Hobday pints and £1 off house-wine and Negronis.
The Pigeon came to Camberwell Church Street in October of 2018 and has since become a neighbourhood purveyor of craft-beer, wine and cocktails.
