Birrificio Angelo Poretti, the UK’s fastest growing Italian lager announces their first TV partnership with Outline Productions ‘Remarkable Places To Eat’ that is slated to air later this summer on Channel 4. Birrificio Angelo Poretti has been brewed specifically to enhance and elevate dining moments for over 140 years, making this collaboration a perfect match.
Poretti pairs effortlessly with all types of world cuisines and of course, crowd-pleasing Italian favourites. Viewers are whisked away on a culinary journey like no other as they watch the show’s cast enjoy food around the world. Each episode of Remarkable Places To Eat sees one of Britain’s best-known foodies – including chefs and restaurateurs – taking host Fred Sirieix to around the UK or abroad to showcase three of their favourite restaurants. This can range from a fine-dining Michelin starred meal to simple yet comforting dishes that bring back strong personal memories.
At each location, they share some of the unmissable food experiences the place has to offer, from meeting suppliers and artisan craftspeople to exploring some of the incredible urban settings or beautiful natural landscapes which provide the local produce that goes into their meals.
Dharmesh Rana, Director of Marketing – Premium Brands at Carlsberg Marston’s Brewing Company says: “Birrificio Angelo Poretti is the perfect accompaniment to food, brewed specifically to enhance dining moments for over 140 years. Made with a blend of four hops that enables the beer to contrast, complement and cut through food effortlessly. We are delighted therefore to partner with Remarkable Places to Eat, the series that takes viewers on a gastronomic journey, revealing the best places to eat from hidden gem restaurants at a range of budgets, championing amazing food, which is what Birrificio Angelo Poretti is all about.”
Laura Mansfield and Helen Veale, Creative Directors, Outline Productions say: “We are thrilled to be partnering with Channel 4 and Birrificio Angelo Poretti on Remarkable Places to Eat. Experiencing fantastic food is something we all think about when deciding on visiting somewhere new, and this series will inspire viewers to search out hidden gems as well as established stars, whether they’re looking for a simple, authentic snack from a hole-in-the wall bar to a sumptuous banquet in a beautiful location.”
Paying homage to the table where great food, company and beer come together, Poretti sets the stage as the perfect accompaniment for good times. Its lager comprises a blend of four hops including Columbus and Zeus, which are known for their herbal and peppery notes and provide a full-flavoured taste. The resulting lager contrasts, complements and cuts through food beautifully. Poretti is served tableside in a bespoke carafe made to retain aroma, effervescence and to encourage the sharing of beer at the dinner table.
Poretti is stocked in major retailers including Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Waitrose, Ocado, Morrisons and Co-Op as well as in wider off-trade. It is also available in 2,500+ on-trade restaurants and bars across the UK.
