Beavertown’s Hops on Hops off goes nationwide… with thousands of free beers up for grabs

  • Beavertown is giving away thousands of free beers across London, Brighton and Birmingham, as part of its ‘Hops on Hops off’ tour
  • The brewery will also be giving away 50 free pints of Neck Oil at the end point of each tour
  • The tour launched last Friday in Manchester and is taking place in London (Friday 26th August), Brighton (Saturday 27th August), and Birmingham (Friday 2nd September)*

Britain listen up – if you fancy a free can of beer (who doesn’t?), we have just the walking tour for you. Beavertown Brewery is launching a Hops on Hops off tour with a twist. Over the next two weeks, Beavertown will be hitting up London, Brighton and Birmingham handing out thousands of free cans of beer in a walking tour like no other.

This isn’t your usual walking tour. In fact, it’s not really a tour at all… it’s a Hops on Hops off (pun intended) experience. Brits are invited to drop by at one of the stops, grab a free beer, and then head off and enjoy the rest of their day.

If you’re looking to learn some genuine facts about each of the cities — look elsewhere. This tongue-in-cheek walk to … the pub, is exactly that. Expect a bit of comedy and some delicious ice cold cans along the way — simple, but effective.

Tom Rainsford, Marketing Director at Beavertown said: “We’re taking our ‘Hops on Hops off’ tour nationwide and it’s guaranteed to kickstart your weekend.”

“We’ve already crashed landed in Manchester, now look out for our tour guides in London, Brighton and Birmingham armed with thousands of ice-cold cans. If any of their facts sound too out-of-this-world to be true… it’s probably because they are.”

Kicking off in Manchester last week, the next leg of the tour will hit London (Friday 26th August) and Brighton (Saturday 27th August) this bank holiday weekend, and conclude in Birmingham (Friday 2nd September).

Beavertown will be giving out a selection of beers including Nanobot (2.8%), a light, crisp  super session IPA and Lazer Crush, Beavertown’s alcohol free IPA, as well as 50 Neck Oil vouchers that can be redeemed at select pubs in each city.

About Beavertown

Beavertown is dedicated to crafting high quality, innovative beers like Gamma Ray APA or Neck Oil SIPA that appeal to the thirsty masses, as well as more experimental brews from our Tempus Project. From brewing to branding, we believe in creativity in everything we do.

  • Now 10 years old, Beavertown began life on a 650L kit in a BBQ joint in Haggerston. The brewery in Tottenham Hale produces 5500L batches (or 9,000,000 pints a year) and our home in Enfield – Beaverworld – produces ten times this, a staggering 90,000,000 pints a year.

  • The official craft beer of Tottenham Hotspur F.C., fans can enjoy a crisp pint of their favourite Beavertown brew in our taproom and microbrewery inside the stadium – the first of its kind.

  • In 2021, Beavertown opened the doors to its first-ever pub, Corner Pin, at the brewery’s home in Tottenham. Popping with vibrant blasts of colour, iconic Beavertown designs and with a menu featuring the whole range of Beavertown’s out-of-this-world beers, Corner Pin encompasses everything that makes the brand unique, bringing all of its creativity and curiosity to the new north London location.

  • Winner of 3 gold medals at the International Beer Challenge for core range beers Gamma Ray & Neck Oil.
