Two beers from the South London brewery’s core range are now available at 250 Sainsbury’s stores across the UK
Beer fans throughout the UK can now get their hands on 330ml cans of Brixton Brewery’s Low Voltage Session IPA and Reliance Pale Ale at Sainsbury’s stores nationwide and online.
Started in a railway arch in 2013, Brixton Brewery was the dream of two couples who wanted to put Brixton on the map for great beer. Co-founder Jez Galaun says that this major new listing takes them closer than ever to achieving that mission.
“We have always strived to brew bold, modern and easy-drinking beers that are accessible to all, in the way that the Brixton area is open and welcoming to all. We’re delighted that people around the UK will be able to get a taste of the famous vibes and exuberance of Brixton through our brews.”
ABOUT THE BEERS
Low Voltage IPA
The laid-back, lower strength sibling to Brixton Brewery’s iconic Electric IPA. Low Voltage may be more relaxed but it still delivers a powerful hop hit and a jolt of zesty citrus flavours from New World hops: all the flavour of an IPA, but at session strength.
Reliance Pale Ale
A perfect balance of biscuity malts, pine aromas and citrus flavours make Reliance Pale Ale an easy-drinking beer for all occasions. Premium English Maris Otter barley provides the clean, crisp backdrop to bright hop flavours.
The can design raises a glass the art deco arches of Brixton’s Reliance Arcade, where local cobblers and tailors still practice their crafts with skill and precision. Reliance proves again that if you want the real deal, you have to make it by hand.
