Craft Union – Matching Beer with Food sees the Peak District’s award-winning Thornbridge Brewery tell the tale of its journey from fledgling start-up to one with a worldwide reputation for a high quality, diverse range of beers.
Along the way it has partnered with Sheffield chef Richard Smith and created a union of beer and food matching explained though recipes designed to highlight the marriage of the two.
As well as a brief history of Thornbridge Brewery, Craft Union features recipe chapters focused on seafood, locally-sourced foods served at Sheffield destination pub the Cricket Inn, and food grown at stately Thornbridge Hall. Guest recipes from award-winning beer writers are also included, as well as an introduction to matching food and beer by expert and Master Brewer Alex Barlow.
