World renowned Schneider Weisse head brewer, Hans-Peter Drexler will be coming to the UK in March to stage an event. This means Hans-Peter will be coming to one venue in the UK to host anything from a beer-dinner to a tutored tasting, or a bloggers Q&A to a homebrew demo… but this time we’re not picking where or what; the choice is yours!
We’re inviting you to tell us your ideas of what event you’d do with Hans-Peter. Be as imaginative and as pioneering as you can and get your Schneider Weisse Event ideas to us by Monday 28th January. Hans-Peter and James Clay will then select the best idea and work with you to ensure this event is the beer event of spring 2013.
It doesn’t matter if you’re a bar-manager, beer-store, beer blogger or simply a beer lover; you’re all welcome to submit an entry. All we ask is that your chosen host venue already stocks Schneider Weisse in some form and is capable of hosting your chosen event on March 11th 2013.
The selected host will be given all the stock they need for the event, including some very rare Schneider Weisse beers and glassware. Schneider Weisse and James Clay will both use their full PR teams to generate publicity both before and after the event.
Entries must be submitted by midday on Monday 28th January to event@schneiderweisse.co.uk with the subject ‘Competition’. Please check out the rules below.
Rules
– Entries must be submitted by Monday 28th January 2013.
– Entries will be judged on both creativity and feasibility.
– Event size should be no less than 30 and no more than 70 guests.
– Chosen venue will be responsible for hosting the event and any associated costs although venue will be able to charge for tickets and drinks if required.
– James Clay will provide all tasting stock and glassware for the event.
– James Clay and Schneider Weisse will provide PR and Marketing if required for the event, although responsibility of selling tickets/filling a venue remains with the host.
