Freedom Brewery, one of the earliest pioneers of craft lager brewing, has reasserted its lager credentials with a colourful new campaign, Love Lager Again!
The Staffordshire brewer, which for the last 25 years has brewed a range of classic lagers with a modern twist, is cheekily reminding beer fans that they have the freedom to love lager all over again. As part of the campaign which kicks off on Valentine’s Day, the brewery is launching Freedom Lager (4% British Lager) in can for the first time. It will be available from 14th February, showcasing the new look and feel of Freedom.
The Love Lager Again! campaign invites you to reminisce about your first true love and launches in time to wish the likes of Jen and Brad, the happiest of Valentine’s Days in 2020.
While Freedom are irreverently encouraging you to ‘Break Up with Your Other Beer’, the lager specialists are keeping the romance alive on Instagram by posting #lovelageragain love letters. The campaign will include a selection of ‘Love Letters to Lager’ to prove that some loves last a lifetime, encouraging you to share your own.

Furthermore, in March, Freedom will be launching its national tasting campaign “Freedom Throw Back”, showcasing how simply wonderful lager is – with quirky snack pairings, retro POS, merchandise, and one hell of a 90s ‘love song’ playlist as a nod to Freedom’s 1995 birth year.
Freedom Throw Back events will be kicking off at Kommune in Sheffield, and a full list of events will be posted on the newly designed Freedom Brewery Website and supported by a social media campaign.
