One Over the Ait opens

Fuller, Smith & Turner P.L.C., the London brewer and premium pub company, is delighted to announce the opening of the latest addition, One Over the Ait at Kew Bridge. Building work began over three years ago and the pub is now ready to open its doors, under the watchful eye of General Manager, Aaron Burchell.

One Over the Ait is located on the banks of the River Thames near Chiswick roundabout, at the north west side of Kew Bridge. Spread over two floors with plenty of outdoor space, it is in a highly enviable location with superb views of the Thames.

A bevy of dignitaries turned up to christen the pub, including Mary Macleod MP for Brentford and Isleworth and Leader of Hounslow Council, Steve Curran.

Aaron Burchell, General Manager, said: “It’s really exciting being part of a new pub opening. It’s been a busy few months and we are all looking forward to welcoming customers through the doors. One Over the Ait is a great space not just for dining but also for enjoying a relaxing drink with friends and family.  Not only do we have our main bar downstairs but an upstairs area serving cocktails and craft beer. We also have a great new menu featuring ‘Best of British’ dishes with a modern, stylish twist bringing exciting new flavours to the table.”

Ian Dobie, Managing Director of St George West London, said: “The opening of One Over the Ait marks an important and exciting milestone in the redevelopment of this area. It’s the newest addition to an already thriving community, joining the existing amenities, including a coffee shop, deli and supermarket, One Over the Ait will be a great enhancement to the village atmosphere.”

Jonathon Swaine, Managing Director of Fuller’s Inns, added: “One Over the Ait is a great addition to our portfolio. It’s always a challenge starting from scratch like this and the team has done a fantastic job. I can’t wait to have my first pint of Pride looking at one of the best views in London.”

Located just two miles away from Fuller’s home in Chiswick, One Over the Ait is now open.
