Rugby stars to speak at Fuller’s pubs in March

Fuller’s has partnered with London Pride and Guinness to host events with rugby stars Danny Care, Lewis Moody, Ben Kay, David Flatman and Tom Shanklin in selected pubs throughout March.

The events will include a conversation with the player where they will tell their rugby stories, followed by a question and answer session and a chance to win a signed shirt. David Flatman and Tom Shanklin will host their Flats & Shanks live podcast.

Tickets for the events are £10 and include a free pint of London Pride or Guinness, depending on the event.

Danny Care at The George IV, Chiswick

Fuller’s and London Pride present an evening of rugby, beer and banter with Danny Care. Currently a scrum-half for Harlequins, Danny is England’s most-capped scrum-half having played 84 times since making his debut in June 2008.

Danny will speak at The George IV in Chiswick on Wednesday 4 March from 7-9pm.

Ben Kay at The Parcel Yard, Kings Cross

Ben Kay will talk all things rugby at The Parcel Yard in Kings Cross Station on Tuesday 10 March, from 7-9pm.

Ben was part of the 2003 World Cup winning English Rugby squad and is one of the most successful players in rugby history. He retired in 2010 and now plays a key role in the BT Sport rugby commentary team.

 Lewis Moody at The Pavilion End, St Paul’s

The final event hosted by London Pride will be a lunch time talk at The Pavilion End by Lewis Moody, who was Captain of the winning 2003 England World Cup team and a flanker for Bath.

Lewis will speak about his career and thoughts on the Six Nations championship at the Pavilion End on Tuesday 11 March, 12.30pm to 2.30pm.

Flats & Shanks Live at The Turk’s Head

Sponsored by Guinness, The Turk’s Head in Twickenham will host a Guinness Six Nations Wrap-up live podcast by with Flats & Shanks, a rugby podcast by two former professional rugby players, David Flatman and Tom Shanklin.

The event is on Thursday 19 March from 7pm. Tickets are £10 and include a free pint of Guinness.
