String of Golds for St Peter’s Brewery in European Beer Awards

Suffolk brewery, St Peter’s, is celebrating after picking up four top awards, including three Double Golds, in this year’s European Beer Challenge.

Considered Europe’s most important beer competition, The European Beer Challenge is judged by Europe’s leading beer buyers and offers brands and producers the opportunity to showcase their products to key influencers in the beer market.

Each product entered is subjected to a rigorous blind tasting process, which allows newcomers to compete fairly against the world’s leading brands.

In this year’s competition, St Peter’s Brewery picked up four coveted awards: Double Golds for its Cream Stout, Old Style Porter and Without® Gold, and a Silver award for its Plum Porter.

“We are delighted to have won these awards which are testament to our brewers’ hard work and dedication to creating the very finest beers,” says Derek Jones, owner and CEO of St Peter’s Brewery. “These awards are judged by some of the leading names in the industry and the competition is always fierce with hundreds of entries from across the world. This is a fantastic way for us to showcase the quality of our products to the world’s leading beer buyers and hopefully make more connections that will boost our sales and visibility.”
St Peter’s produces a range of craft beers, ales, stouts and porters, as well as a selection of gluten free, organic and alcohol-free beers at its brewery in Bungay in Suffolk. For more information on St Peter’s Brewery visit www.stpetersbrewery.co.uk
