The Royal Oak, Eccleshall Gets Ready To Open It’s Doors Again

Get ready to raise your glasses and celebrate as the iconic Royal Oak, Eccleshall prepares to throw open it’s doors once more, marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter in it’s history.

Following the recent announcement of its re-development project which has been underway since the beginning of January, which promises to seamlessly blend tradition with a modern touch, the Royal Oak, Eccleshall is set to welcome back patrons starting from its reopening weekend on March 28th, 2024.

Situated proudly on Eccleshall High Street, just a stone’s throw away from Joule’s Brewery Flagship Tap in Market Drayton, the Royal Oak is poised to become the go-to spot for pub enthusiasts in Eccleshall.

With enhancements across the board, including operational improvements and an extension of the bar to showcase our extensive Joule’s draught offer. We have created cosy corners, ideal for setting in with a pint. Our outdoor space has also received a transformation, boasting a new pergola in the beer courtyard and refurbishments, complete with draught exclusion, to the coach house. All perfect for live music events.

In addition to the enhancements downstairs, we’ve also spared no effort in upgrading our meeting room and function room upstairs, perfect for any occasion – whether you’re hosting a business gathering or a social event, our revamped meeting room offers a comfortable and professional space for all occasions.

The function room upstairs includes upgrades to the bar and functionality, we have elevated the bar to create the perfect offer for cold beers on tap, as well as added secondary glazing to make it thermo-efficient.

We’re absolutely thrilled to announce the reopening of the Royal Oak Eccleshall,” said Georgia Charlton-Briggs, Brand Manager at Joule’s Brewery “This project has been an exciting next step for the Royal Oak, and we can’t wait to share the final results with our patrons and newcomers alike. During our recent open evening we gave people a sneak peek at what we had been up to and were blown away by the resounding positive response.”

The opening weekend line-up promises something for everyone, with S4TW kicking things off on Friday, followed by Stone Cold Soberish on Saturday, and the soulful tunes of Katie O’Malley on Sunday. And to sweeten the deal, light bites like sausage rolls will be available on the bar throughout the weekend.

“Here at the Royal Oak, Eccleshall, we’re all about inclusivity and variety. We’re delighted to offer a diverse array of events and evenings tailored to suit every taste and interest. From lively performances to laid-back gatherings, we’ve got something for everyone to enjoy.
