The following received from John Reynolds: I’m sorry to report that Elisabeth Baker, a former member of the Guild, former secretary of SIBA and editor of The Grist and my beloved wife of 25 years, has died, peacefully in her sleep in Peterborough Hospital. Funeral details to follow. John Reynolds

The Guild’s Membership Sub-committee is looking for new members. Formed 12 years ago, the Sub-committee plays an important role in assessing all new applications for both Full and Associate membership, including evaluating support material. Summary: International Women's Day Beverage Festival Further details: For IWD 2026, we've organized a showcase of women makers in Scotland. We have 15 breweries and distilleries and counting participating in a showcase of beer, NA beer, spirits, and soft drinks at a festival named for the divine hag of Scottish Folklore, the Cailleach.
